Emergency Property Management

Progressive Management has been retained with as little as 24 hours notice, to fill a management void at a troubled property. We have often 'parachuting' into volatile situations involving complex, contentious issues.

Our initial objective as an Emergency Property Manager is to:
  • Secure client's funds, records, passwords and keys
  • Establish a plan to deal with on-going business: office hours, staffing, resident notices, etc.
  • Review life safety systems, the emergency response plan and risk management issues
  • Review financial records and assess fraud risks
  • Assess status of Accounts Receivable
  • Assess existing board and staff rolesAssess status of RGI Administration
  • Assess property maintenance issues

Once daily operations are stabilized, which typically occurs in a matter of days, an assessment similar to the Operational Advisor assignment begins in conjunction with performing the daily responsibilities of property management.
